Van Insurance - Why Should You Consider Securing Your Van!

When you drive a van keeping it secure is a must, if you want to save money in the long run. The problem id the
crime related to van theft in the UK. Do you know 47000 light goods vans are stolen from UK businesses each year.
Can you imagine the hassle this could cause you, even more if you run a small business.
It has been known for van companies, not to pay out because you missed something in your policy when you
got your first van quote from the insurers. You may not have included tools cover or didn't know the cost
more for carrying gas bottles or other hazardous goods. You may think your covered, but you could be in for a
surprise.
Most business take it for granted that everything on covered in the policy. If you don't make sure the policy
covers everything your vans do from day to day, it could cost you money. Having security on your vans will reduce
your policy and could prevent your van being stolen. Here is some tips for you.
Tip 1: If you can afford it get a tracker on your business vans. When the van is driven after a contain time, the
tracker network will alert a call centre and then alert the police. The tracker can also help keep an eye on your
employees to, from them they leave a job to when they arrive on the job.
Tip 2: Get your vans fitted with good alarm. This will deter thefts when they look around the van and they see the
alarm indicator light. Your van company can sort your policy out form start to finish.
